FRAGMENTED SELF

A "Lost in Translation" brief: What parts of our character gets lost in the translation process between ourselves and others? How much of our essence remains intact? And how much space is left open for external interactions to fill? The polaroid montages represent the many different personalities that ties us together as a whole person. External and internal factors influence our self-image everyday such as our mood, the context we are inserted in, our constant change of interests, the characteristics other people apply to us… We are all built of fragmented pieces of ourselves.
